Mike Caronna is a multi-format journalist and spatial journalism researcher specializing in non-fiction 3D storytelling. At the Starling Lab for Data Integrity Mike researches the application of cryptographic proofs and decentralized technologies to securely capture, store, and verify spatial digital records. He has 20+ years of global journalism experience at news organizations in Asia, Europe, and North America including Reuters, Bloomberg News, The Wall Street Journal, and the Yomiuri Shimbun spanning a wide variety of roles from writing and reporting, to shooting photos and video, editing, ethics, and safety.
