Benedict Lau

Benedict is an engineer of distributed systems, mesh networks, and collectively-governed infrastructures. He is an active steward in the decentralized web, and has experience in streaming media, at-scale analytics, mobile software, and peer-to-peer protocols. He is a co-founding member of Hypha Worker Co-operative and Distributed Press.

Benedict cares deeply about the essentiality of data authenticity to decentralized networks. He joined the Lab in 2021 to develop the early implementations across practice areas, and continue to provide technical guidance to the Lab’s strategy and partnerships.
