Adam Rose

Adam has spent two decades in journalism with a focus on digital media and video production. He was previously managing editor for news/sports/movies at Paramount+, served in senior newsroom leadership roles for the Huffington Post, worked for the Los Angeles Times, and was an editor and contributor for LAist. Adam is on the Los Angeles Press Club board of directors and serves as press rights chair. He successfully lobbied for a California law to protect journalists from arrest while covering protests.

Adam joined Starling Lab as chief operating officer in 2022. In this role, he supports research initiatives across the Lab’s practice areas of journalism, law and history.
